Tuition Fees
How can I pay my tuition fees?
You can pay by credit card, bank draft or Australian cheque. If you wish to pay by bank draft, please contact the UNSW Study Abroad office for further information.
Please note: UNSW will not be liable for any fluctuations in exchange rates.
Can I pay my tuition fees in instalments?
No. You will be required to pay a deposit upon accepting your place, and the remaining fees will be payable as per the due date shown on your fee statement.
Visa Information and Requirements
Which visa should I apply for?
Most students travelling to Australia to undertake UNSW Summer Down Under courses and who are staying in Australia for less than 90 days will only require a tourist visa. Students wishing to stay in Australia for longer than 90 days for extended study or travel may require a student visa or working holiday visa.
Please note that the University cannot provide advice regarding visas, and applicants should contact the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship with any questions. For more information please see the Visa Wizard on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.
Transferring Credit Back Home
How do I transfer my credits back home?
It is at the discretion of your home university whether the courses taken at UNSW can be transferred to your degree program. We recommend that you download course outlines and related information from UNSW websites and discuss these with your home university prior to finalizing your Summer Down Under enrolment.
Do I get an official UNSW transcript?
Yes. All students in the Summer Down Under program are issued with an official UNSW transcript on completion of their studies.
