UNSW is accredited under the MGIB program to administer US Department of Veterans Affairs funding. To apply for benefits provided by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, please apply directly to the department.
The US Department of Veterans Affairs will pay eligible student education benefits for pursuit of an approved programme of study. You can check whether your degree is approved here. If your programme is not yet approved, contact the VA Certifying Official / Financial Aid Officer to add it. The programme approval process may take up to 6 months, so please apply as early as possible.
The Department of Veterans Affairs will issue you with a Certificate of Eligibility. Send a copy to the VA Certifying Official/Financial Aid Officer at UNSW to certify your enrolment with the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
If the benefits for which you are eligible do not meet your expected costs, you may apply for US Financial Aid under the William D. Ford Direct Loans Program.
