Students atop the Quadrangle stairs

Details of some of the scholarships available to students going on exchange are listed below. Recipients of scholarships are expected to assist the Global Education and Student Exchange team on their return by participating in the Aussie Mate Program and by promoting student exchange.

You are not notified of whether you have been awarded a scholarship until after the closing date for your student exchange application. You cannot rely on having one of these scholarships for the purpose of demonstrating that you have the necessary financial resources to go on exchange.

Student Exchange Scholarships

These scholarships, worth AUD2000 each, are administered by the Global Education and Student Exchange Office, and are awarded to students with the highest academic grades from each faculty. These scholarships are not open to fee-paying international students, postgraduate students, Bachelor of Commerce International students, Bachelor of International Studies students, Bachelor of Science International students or second-time exchange students.

Faculty of Engineering Scholarships

  • top-up award (AUD700) to the top recipients of a Student Exchange Scholarship

The Faculty also pays the application fee for its undergraduate engineering students applying for a student exchange
