Taking advantage of volunteer opportunities abroad provides an international dimension to your skills. These add considerable value to your résumé, and enable you to present yourself as a high-value employee with interests and aptitudes beyond your studies.

The Global Education Office supports you if you wish to go on these experiences. We are happy to discuss any plans you may have.

  • Peacework: Sends volunteers to crisis points around the world, and frequently to Asia. 
  • Projects Abroad: Arranges volunteer projects in developing countries in Asia, Africa and South America, including teaching, conservation, care and community work 
  • Travellers Worldwide: Arranges conservation, work experience and teaching projects in 16 countries
