  • What are my reasons for going overseas?
  • What are my academic and career goals?
  • How will I finance my time overseas?
  • When is the best time in my course to go?
  • What are my outside interests, and where can I pursue these?
  • What kind of university experience would I like – city, college or university town?
  • What sort of accommodation do I want to live in?
  • What are my language skills, and where can I go that is appropriate to these?
