International Exchange Program

  • Over 180 exchange partner Universities in 32 countries around the world, including Canada, Asia, South America, the USA, and Europe.
  • We send around 200-250 students per year overseas on exchange
  • We welcome 300-350 exchange students per year from partner Universities

Study Abroad Program

The Study Abroad Program arranges for overseas students from accredited universities to undertake one or two semester study full-time, for credit at their home institutions. Shorter-term programs are available.
The Study Abroad office arranges enrolment and orientation programs as well as offering course advice, airport pick-up and travel advice. Accommodation, social activities, general support and assistance are also organised for students.

UNSW Global strategically draws together the wide-ranging, non-degree activities of UNSW to enhance the international leverage and reputation of the University.

NON AWARD/NON DEGREE STUDIES

Non Award Study

Apply to study for one or two semesters at UNSW without being enrolled in a degree program. Applicants must select a full-time load (18 to 24 Units of Credit - Usually three to four courses) per semester, and need to meet the prerequisite requirements for the individual courses/subjects applied for.

Professional Practicum Research Program (Or Short Term Research Program)

The PPRP is designed for overseas students who would like to undertake short-term research or a practical training program at UNSW. The program allows students to develop skills and gain valuable experience in a research area related to their studies and future career.

Offering an international perspective to current faculty research projects and developments, this program is of mutual benefit for both the student and UNSW.
