Welcome to the UNSW International Financial Aid Web Site

 
UNSW participates in, and assists students from a range of countries in extending their home country university student loans programs to cover study and other related expenses while enrolled as a full-time student in our programs.
 
We hope that these pages provide some information on the various loans programs, and assists students interested in taking student loans while at UNSW.
 
The UNSW International Financial Aid Office is open for student consultation between 9.30am - 12.30pm Weekdays, or otherwise by appointment.

United States

The UNSW International Financial Aid Office can assist students who wish to apply for US Department of Education Title IV or Federal Family Education Loans Program (FFELP) loans. These include Stafford subsidised and unsubsidised loans, Parent loans (PLUS) and Graduate PLUS Loans.
 
The office can also assist US students with the processing and disbursement of education related Private Loans.
 
We can also assist with program registration, application and certification of documentation for students who may wish to access a range of US Veteran's Affairs Benefits.
 

Canada

The office can also assist students from Canada with arranging to extend their Canada or Provincial Student Loans funding to study programs at UNSW.
 
We can also assist with the processing and disbursement of education related private loans through the Canadian Higher Education Loan program.
 

Great Britain, Scandinavia and Germany

Students who may be accessing loans programs from countries such as Great Britain, Norway, Sweden or Germany, can also be assisted with relevant paperwork and completion of enrolment certification documentation etc. to access their loans.
 
We hope the pages provide you with information and assistance, and allow those students applying through these programs to understand and comply with the relevant national or provincial regulations involved.
