- The Master of Philosophy offers training for potential doctoral candidates, and the potential to upgrade to a doctoral program (subject to School and Faculty approval).
- Career Opportunities
- The Master of Philosophy provides a pathway into further research, which may culminate in doctoral candidature. It provides students the opportunity to explore new research within the fields of fine arts, design, media arts, curating, art theory, art education and their interdisciplinary fields through independent, supervised research and investigation. The degree is comprised of original, supervised research and investigation into art and design, in addition to a structured coursework component. The objectives of the program are: to provide the opportunity for research training requiring a significant basic or applied research project; and to support the research training with coursework to provide in-depth discipline skills, or skills in relevant research methods.
