Welcome to APRU APM 2017

It is with great pleasure that UNSW Sydney invites you to attend the 21st APRU Presidents Meeting & CEO Summit 2017 - “The Future of the Pacific and its Societies”. Given the political climate around the world the theme of this year’s meeting could not be more relevant.

UNSW Sydney is delighted to host this prestigious meeting, bringing together leaders from the APRU network to foster deeper relationships, to discuss issues affecting our region and to develop strategies that will have a meaningful impact on our region’s future.

The draft program for this year’s meeting can be found here, the final version to be uploaded in the upcoming weeks.

What's new

This year we’ll also be launching the inaugural CEO Summit: Pacific 2050. The summit will provide APRU attendees the engage & debate with world leaders in academic, government and industry on topical issues under the theme “The Future of the Pacific”

There will be different sessions covering subjects such as ‘Trade in the Asia-Pacific after TPP’, and ‘The Future of Disaster-Management and Preparedness in the Asia-Pacific. It promises to be an excellent opportunity to discuss issues through the lens of alternative backgrounds, as well as providing an opportunity to network with prominent figures from academia, government and industry.
